Content Warnings

Preface

Having found her footing in fandom spaces, Sithia understands the importance of transparency. Her works are full of mature content, and if she were to publish them on certain archives, she would undoubtedly tag them appropriately; however, in the traditional publishing landscape, not every reader wants to be potentially spoiled by what they may consider unnecessary warnings. In the interests of satisfying all readers, she provides as many relevant warnings as she can think of under drop-down menus to ensure only those that want to see them will.

The warnings on this page are organized by general, explicit, implied, and mentioned.

General warnings are nonspecific umbrella warnings that provide a general overview of the severity of the content (for example, at least one character uses drugs).

Explicit warnings describe specific events that have dedicated scenes or are otherwise obvious threads running throughout the work (for example, there are scenes in which a character is abused).

Implied warnings describe topics or events that could be inferred about the material, but are otherwise not explicitly written to have occurred or be occurring (for example, a character has symptoms of a specific mental illness, but is never diagnosed).

Mentioned warnings describe content that is usually relayed by a character through dialogue as part of their backstory, but otherwise does not have an active, current scene related to it (for example, a character’s mother talks about a time in which she was pregnant).
